Glasses for New American Friends!
/On August 9th, Dr. Cheryl Davidson, of The Center for Vision and Learning Eye Clinic, came to the new Peace Center building to check up on refugees who wished to receive a free eye exam. As a part of their eye exam, patients had the opportunity to choose a new pair of prescription eye glasses that fit their style, free of cost. From the 13 refugees who received eye exams, 11 received new glasses.
A huge thank you to Dr. Davidson and CFNA’s Health and Wellness Coordinator, the volunteer drivers, and Gayle Sheahan, for organizing this clinic and helping our friends be able to see.
